Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and allowed to use Discord under Discord’s Terms of Service. Your use of Llamacord inside Discord is also subject to Discord’s terms and community guidelines.

Llamacord is an AI assistant for Discord servers. It responds to messages using large language models, can search the web and read linked pages, and can be customized by server admins with personas and settings. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time.

If you add Llamacord to a server or configure it, you are responsible for:

• Having permission to add the bot, and letting your members know an AI bot is present and may process messages in the channels where it is enabled, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• The personas, instructions, and settings you configure, and making sure they comply with these terms and Discord’s policies.
• Using the controls available to you (blocked channels, user limits, disabled tools) to keep the bot appropriate for your community.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law, or Discord’s terms or community guidelines.
• Harass, threaten, dox, or target others, including by using the bot to search or summarize someone’s messages to harm them.
• Generate or spread sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or self-harm, malware, spam, or deliberately deceptive content such as impersonation or fraud.
• Get around usage limits, rate limits, or safety measures, including through multiple accounts or prompt manipulation intended to bypass them.
• Disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or the systems behind it.
• Use the Service’s output to build a competing AI model or service.

Our AI model providers also have usage policies, and requests that violate them may be refused.

Llamacord’s responses are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or offensive, even when they sound confident. They don’t reflect our views. Don’t rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, or for anything where a mistake could cause harm. You are responsible for how you use what the bot produces.

You keep any rights you have in the messages, prompts, and persona text you provide. You give us permission to use that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share the content you send to the bot, including links and other people’s messages.

Subject to these terms and any third-party terms, you may use the bot’s responses however you like. Similar responses may be given to other users, so we can’t promise they’re unique.

Llamacord offers a free tier with daily usage limits per server. We may change these limits at any time. We plan to offer paid subscriptions; when we do, the price, billing terms, and refund policy will be shown before you buy, and those terms will apply to your purchase alongside these.

The Service relies on third parties, including Discord, AI model providers, search engines, and hosting providers. We aren’t responsible for their services, and their availability can affect Llamacord’s. Links and search results may lead to third-party websites that we don’t control.

You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server or signing out. We may limit, suspend, or end access for any user or server that violates these terms, puts the Service or others at risk, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limits of liability) will survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Llamacord will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the effective date above and announce significant changes in our Discord server. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
